TKS Towers In China

TKS was awarded a newspaper press contract from the Henan Daily in the
Henan Province in central China. This is the first tower press TKS has
sold to the Chinese newspaper market. The TKS press is the beginning
of the newspaper’s production initiative to enhance their quality and add
more color.

The Henan Daily has a circulation of 1,100,000 copies per day. The Color
Top 7000CDH press selected consists of two 4x4 and two 1/1 tower units,
a 2:3:3 jaw folder, a 2:2:2 rotary folder and four 3-arm reelstands. The
press is capable of producing 32 pages with 16 pages in full color. Prod-
uction start is slated for October 2005.

To provide sales support and continued marketing research of the Chinese
newspaper market, TKS will open an office in Beijing, China. This new
office is part of TKS’s ongoing expansion of local support offices for a
growing customer base.
